tai chi chuan was considered
to be the pinnacle of kung fu.

It was taught to the Manchu Emperor's elite palace guards.

Classical Yang style

Tai chi chuan is an ancient Chinese martial art famous for its excellent health benefits.
Our school practices the classical Yang family system.

Emphasis is placed upon mobile joints, relaxed muscles and natural movement.
The training encourages a calm mind and composed emotions.

Students study baguazhang, chin na, neigong, qigong, self defence, shuai jiao and tai chi chuan.
If you have no interest in learning kung fu, you are quite welcome to attend lessons as a
health-only student.


We teach in the traditional manner.
Students join the school and then work through the syllabus.
