Syllabus
A teaching assistant with our school should make an effort to acquire all of
these skills at their earliest opportunity:
Long Yang form (sections 1, 2 & 3) (regular & mirrored)
General:
Yielding exercise
Yielding basic skills
Single pushing hands
Monkey paws
Cat-stepping
Double pushing hands
Martial:
Chin na applications
Form applications
Shuai jiao applications
San sau
Knife drills
Stick drills
Sword drills
Without these skills,
you will remain a novice, no matter how many
years you train.
There are no fixed limits.
Time does not stand still.
All is in movement.
